At ULI Empowerment Initiative, we believe that every individual—regardless of their background—deserves the opportunity to thrive. Founded in 2023 and incorporated in 2024, our mission is to empower vulnerable groups, especially women and children, through sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship, and education.
We are a grassroots-driven, community-focused nonprofit organization based in Nigeria, with a growing global vision. Our programs are rooted in the simple but powerful idea that lasting change begins with empowering people—providing them with the tools, knowledge, and support to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
What We Do
Agricultural Empowerment: We train and support local farmers, especially women and youth, in cultivating high-value, low-input indigenous crops like ginger, turmeric, and hibiscus. These crops, often seen as wild or underutilized, are being transformed into sources of income and community pride.
Educational Support: We provide scholarships, school supplies, and learning materials to underprivileged children—ensuring that poverty doesn’t stop potential.
Entrepreneurship & Cooperative Development: Through our ULI Agro Cooperative, we enable community members and investors to collaborate, grow food, and share profits—building resilience and shared prosperity.
Peace & Unity Campaigns: Our global campaign, Dance to Empower, blends culture, dance, and fashion to promote peace, raise funds, and foster global solidarity.
